Brand Strategy & Development

EXPERTISE

Every brand has a story. Before the logo, the website, or the next campaign, there has to be clarity about what that story is: what your organization stands for, who it serves, and where it's going. Brand strategy is where we define that, and brand development is how we give it a voice and a look people recognize.

Who it's for

We work with organizations at two turning points. Some are new and want to start with a clear foundation instead of building one piece at a time. Others are established and have grown past their brand, so their messaging, visuals, and materials no longer match who they are or where they're going. Both need the same thing: one story that everything else can follow.

What's included

How we work

Listen

We start by learning about your organization, your audience, and your competition, through conversations with leadership and the people closest to your customers.

Define

We turn what we learn into a clear strategy: your positioning, your story, and the message at the center of it.

Design

With the strategy in place, we build the identity that expresses it, from the logo to the full visual system.

Carry it forward

We document everything in brand guidelines, and we can carry the brand into your website, video, campaigns, and materials, so it holds together everywhere people encounter it.

Frequently asked questions.

Do we need a full rebrand or just a refresh?

It depends on how far your brand has drifted from who you are. If your core story still fits and the visuals feel dated, a refresh may be enough. If your organization has changed direction, grown, or merged, a full rebrand usually makes more sense. We'll give you an honest recommendation either way.

We already have a logo. Can you still help?

Yes. Many clients come to us with a logo they want to keep. Strategy and messaging can strengthen an existing identity, and we can build guidelines around what you already have.

How long does a brand strategy project take?

It depends on scope. A focused strategy and messaging project typically takes several weeks, and a full rebrand with a new identity takes a few months.

What kinds of organizations do you work with?

Large and small businesses, national brands, schools, local governments, and healthcare organizations. The process is the same regardless of size: start with the story, then build from there.

What happens after the brand is built?

Some clients take their new guidelines and run with them. Others keep working with us to carry the brand into video, campaigns, websites, and digital presence, or bring us on for ongoing creative leadership.
